And So It Begins
By the end of this week we will be surrounded by the sound of Kreyol, eating breadfruit (Leah’s favourite) and spending time with friends and family. We will be in Haiti from June 21st to July 11th to visit family and also to do some groundwork for the upcoming Grace Baptist Church short term missions trip in 2018.
We are planning to team up with Haiti Arise Ministries for the 2018 trip so we will be touring their facilities and meeting with one of the representatives. Scouting spots for the well project is also on the agenda. Additionally, we will be attending several churches and seeing how we can support the local church as much as possible.
Travelling with an 8 month old to Haiti will certainly be an adventure, but we are very excited to introduce Evangeline to family for the very first time!
Pray for us as we adjust to the heat (and it is HOT at this time of year) and look at taking steps towards the 2018 trip.
