Good news

    As many of you already know, earlier this year a team from Grace Baptist Church traveled to Haiti, with the intention to drill a water well in the community of Merger. We drilled 210 ft. to no avail; the water was unusable, it was too high in sulfur. We worked on other projects but still left Haiti a little disappointed because of the failure to leave the community with clean water.  Haiti Arise hosted us while we were in Haiti and after the team traveled back to Canada, Haiti Arise distributed some water filters in the community of Merger to help the community until we find a final solution to the water issues.   Until we can find a company that can find a fix for high sulfur water, we have decided to build a water cistern for the community of Merger. It will provide clean and safe water, for which they would need to pay a small price per bucket.  The reason a price would be attached is to make sure that there is always water in the cistern.
