"Couples Night for Haiti" An unforgettable night

Great food, beautiful decorating, live music, and fabulous food. What more could
you ask for in a night out? A great cause of course!
On February 16 th , right after Valentine’s Day, we hosted “Couples Night for Haiti,”
a dinner at Grace Baptist Church Airdrie with the theme, “Marriage SOS:
Weathering life’s crisis together”. It was a romantic atmosphere with dimmed
lights and live music.
The event featured a roast beef dinner and dessert prepared by Carmen and her life
group, music by Jon Day and Shari Chaskin, speakers Drs. Steve and Susan Booth,
and awesome raffle prizes. And last but not least, our fun MC David Ong. During
the event I got goosebumps listening to Jon and Shari. “Shari is that ultimate voice
that pulls at your heart strings with her rich warm tones and her passion for power
and honesty”, https://www.sharichaskinmusic.com. We had some incredibly
talented people who came out to help inspired2change raise support for our Haiti
projects.

Now, flights are booked and the team is getting ready to fly to Port-Au- Prince,
Haiti on March 25 th , 2018. Eleven of us are on board to join God in His mission, to
join Him in the work He is already doing in Haiti. Our main goal is to drill a water
well in the community of Merger and to support a local church with their building
construction.
This unforgettable event was possible because you were part of it. Thank you so
much to everyone who came out to the event; both those helping and those
attending. We had a big team who made this event a possibility and are so
thankful for the help. We definitely had a blast and raised over $7000.00 to go
towards the projects on the upcoming trip to Haiti!!
